“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
Proverbs 16:3 (ESV)

This is a great reminder amidst being busy at whatever you put your hands to.

“Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Mark 10:43-45 (NIV)

May we be humbly reminded that our posture should always be that of servanthood.

Luke 12:48b (NLT)

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (NIV)

Embrace your current season and live it as authentically as you possibly can.

You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky, but why do you not know how to interpret the present time?
Luke 12:56 (ESV)

It is vital that we spend time sharpening our spiritual senses, not just our conventional senses.

Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits. When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they perceived that he was speaking about them.
Matthew 21:43,45 (ESV)

You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.

And others are those sown among the thorns: these are the ones who hear the word, but the cares of the world, and the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things come in and choke the word, and it yields nothing.
Mark 4:18,19 (NRS)

Be intentional to not let the cares of the world, the lure of wealth and the desire for other things come in and choke out the word that’s been sown in you, leaving you with no fruit produced. Hold the word sacred in your heart and protect it.
