Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:19 (ESV)

Change almost always starts off being uncomfortable, but do your best to embrace the new thing that God is doing in and around you.

Isaiah 40:13,14

Who has measured the Spirit of the LORD, or what man shows him his counsel? Whom did he consult, and who made him understand? Who taught him the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and showed him the way of understanding?
Isaiah 40:13,14 (ESV)

If you embrace it, it’s kind of refreshing to be reminded that God’s consistency, timing and His insight far exceed yours. Choose to be content that He’s doing something far greater than what your limited perspective has to offer.

Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.
Romans 12:6-8 (ESV)

We’re each individually and uniquely made by the hand of our Awesome God. Be yourself. Do your thing, and celebrate those around you who do what you can’t.

Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!
Psalm 46:10 (ESV)

Her husband Elkanah said to her, “Hannah, why do you weep? Why do you not eat? Why is your heart sad? Am I not more to you than ten sons?”
1 Samuel 1:8 (NRS)

Let us resist the temptation to be dissatisfied with what God has provided us. He knows what we need more than anything else. May we be ever thankful with exactly what we are given.

The LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
Genesis 2:15-17

Be content with God’s provision, and resist the temptations that lead away from Him.
