So the Jews said to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath, and it is not lawful for you to take up your bed.” But he answered them, “The man who healed me, that man said to me, ‘Take up your bed, and walk.'”
John 5:10,11 (ESV)

Legalism and tradition weren’t important to the man who was healed after being an invalid for 38 years. Follow what Jesus says, and loose the bonds of legalism and old thinking.

To what then shall I compare the men of this generation, and what are they like? For John the Baptist has come eating no bread and drinking no wine, and you say,’He has a demon!’ The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Behold, a gluttonous man and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’
-Luke 7:31,33,34 (NASB)

You don’t need to judge others. That’s up to God, not to you.

“Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.”
Matthew 7:1,2 (NASB)

It isn’t your job to judge. Leave the judging to God and spend your time loving.
